Freelance is a trend!!!

When I was young, people wear the suit and go to work 9-to-5. 5 days work and 2 days rest, it is very normal at that time. Nearly most of the people have the same working schedule. There is a new form of labor as time goes on, it is the “Freelance”.

Nowadays, the freelancer can apply for the freelance job on the Internet at any time and anywhere. Most of the freelance job is not work 9-to-5 but require to finish the job within the specified time and no restrictions on where to work. It is so-called “Home office”. It is very popular with the media worker and translator. When we look over the freelance job website, we can notice so many people from all over the world require a job about translation. Some of them want to find a native speaker from another country to do the translation.

For example, a restaurant from France make a new menu but they want to attract and convenient for tourists from China. They want to have a Chinese version of the menu but they don’t know anyone can do the favor. So they can upload a recruitment to find a native Chinese speaker who knows French to be a translator. The translator may not live in France, they can in any country. It is the power of information flow on the Internet. It is convenient that the employer can upload the photo of the menu and all the requirement to offer a job in only a few seconds. It really helps in supporting the growth of in the information economy. Although people have a regular job in Hong Kong, they can still have an extra freelance job for my employer who lives in France when they have a free time.

It is the reason that freelance becomes a trend, people can make good use of their knowledge or skills to get a job online and finish it within the required time. They can say “goodbye” to the old daily routine “wake up at 8 and go to work 9-to-5, 5 days work and 2 days rest”. They can decide their own schedule and do the job they want.
